On July 5, a jury of seven women and five men acquitted the 25-year-old Anthony of killing her 2-year-old daughter Caylee. The jury did find her guilty of four lesser counts of lying to police officers about the disappearance of her child -- a decision she is appealing. Anthony was released from prison on July 17th, credited with good behavior and time served. Her current whereabouts are unknown.
Her attorney, Jose Baez, told The Huffington Post, that he is not involved in any negotiations with Hustler magazine publisher Larry Flynt. Last week, Flynt offered Anthony $500,000 to pose naked for his magazine. Mr. Flynt may not be running Hustler magazine like he did in his prime, but he's still an expert at grabbing the nation's attention. Flynt says the media made Casey Anthony into a star, covering every aspect of her murder case from the day they learned that her daughter was missing, and now that she's been acquitted, we may be moving onto the next big thing. Mr Flynt wants to change our course by offering her half a million to strip for Hustler magazine.
The website TMZ.com reports that sources say Anthony will not be doing any media interviews until she receives professional treatment for mental health issues. She is seeking treatment because she realizes that her questionable behavior stems from
'obvious mental health issues, she still needs help coping with the 'obvious trauma of losing her child, and she spent nearly three years in solitary confinement in a Florida jail. The same sources told TMZ.com that once Anthony is healthy, she will consider doing media interviews
