A local television station reports that a Belleville man got an unusual surprise in his kitchen Saturday morning. Mark Page and his wife, Cassia, were awakened when they heard glass breaking and hooves running on the first floor of their two-level home.  Page told KSDK TV that he walked downstairs and saw a ten- to 12-point buck standing in the kitchen with his head in the sink at their home near East C and North Oak. Mr. Page believes the deer evidently came in through a dining room window, hurting itself during the break-in.  Page told the station he ran upstairs quote, "because I don't mess with deer." and the deer left by smashing through another window.
