      The Internet will be more and more used, in important ways, to do the United States Census.

      Some critical military files are found on-line.  Some information posted carelessly by government agencies and contractors is accessible to anyone with an Internet connection.  Chance are that the al Qaeda network knows where to find the information.

      A Chinese search engine has become important, for China's 1.3 billion people, or more so, than Google and Yahoo is in our country of 300 million people.  We will hear more about that search engine.

      U.S.Military is building a biometric database of thousands of Iraqi men as an aid in tracking suspected militants.  Things like finger prints and eye scans taken at checkpoints etc.  Troops will receive thousands of handheld scanners to collect and display the data.

      Health and the Internet will have closer and closer ties as Washington drafts more and more laws creating a technology that enable patients to have more 'hands on' control of electronic health information.  H.R. 2991 is an example of what is to come.

      Our Air Force is in the process of deploying a new attack squadron of unmanned serial vehicles called the "REAPER".  The drone carries over a ton of guided bombs and missiles....it uses infrared, laser and radar targeting and more.  When used in Afghanistan and Iraq the "REAPER" will be controlled from the United States at a base in Nevada.
