A Chinese man died on Saturday after playing Internet games for three consecutive days,  The Chinese media says….exhaustion was the most likely cause of death. The news came as China starts to address the problem of what it refers to as Internet addiction.

Due to the high use of the Internet….the Chinese government also has limited the time Internet users can play games online.    They have now banned the opening of new cyber cafes.   I have spent many hours, behind a computer in Yunnan Providence and witnessed my Chinese brothers and sisters play games like crazy.  I have a first hand feeling for their concerns.

Given  China’s Communistic type government you can also understand their concern about the information being accessed on the Internet.   Some of which is certainly objectionable by government standards.
