NFL commissioner Roger Goodell says the league wants a team in
St. Louis. Goodell addressed the potential sale of the the Rams at his State of the NFL meeting this morning in
South Florida. Goodell said owners Chip Rosenbloom and Lucia Rodriguez have made good decisions to help keep the team in the
Gateway
City. He added, if the team is sold, the league would still like the team to stay where it is. Rosenbloom and Rodriguez inherited the team from their mother Georgia Frontiere when Frontiere passed away in 2008.
The Rams are apparently looking at CFL star Rickey Foley. The defensive end came to
Rams
Park for a visit this week. Foley led the Canadian Football League with 12 sacks this past season for the British Columbia Lions. The "Post-Dispatch" cited sources close to Foley as saying he was impressed with the Rams during his visit but plans to meet with several other NFL teams as well.
The Rams could use his help as they may be short at defensive end in 2010 as both Leonard Little and James Hall are unrestricted free agents.

Center. On Wednesday, the Note defeated the Hawks 3-2 in
