NFL defensive star Bubba Smith has died in Los Angeles at age 66.Los Angeles County coroner's spokesman Ed Winter says Smith was found dead Wednesday at his Baldwin Hills home. Winter says he didn't know the circumstances or cause of death.but  the death does not appear to be suspicious.

After an All-American career at Michigan State in 1966, the 6-foot-7, 265-pound Smith spent five seasons with the Baltimore Colts and two seasons each with Oakland and Houston and was one of the biggest players of his era. He won a ring at Super Bowl V and =went to two Pro Bowls. After retiring, Mr.Smith became an actor, best known for playing Moses Hightower in the first six Police Academy movies.
