Coldplay Denies Copying Joe Satriani In 'Viva La Vida'

 I love Coldplay, but really, 'Viva La Vida' sounds a whole lot like Joe Satriani's "If I Could Fly'. Really. In December, Satriani sued the band that garnered the number one album of 2008. Coldplay flatly denies 'copying' the master guitarist, yet, the subconscious mind can easily carry over a melody and copy without the person really knowing. So do a search on YouTube yourself and decide for yourself.
