Warren County Fair organizers could not have asked for better weather this past week.  Temperatures hovered around a perfect 80 mark, and rain really wasn't a factor.  Now, Lincoln County Fair organizers are hoping to continue that lucky streak in the upcoming week.  This evening will be the kick-off with the Lincoln County Fair Queen Pageant takes place at the Bonfils Auditorium.  Then, the parade rolls down through Troy this Sunday, July 6th starting at 7pm.

The fair then goes into full-swing on Tuesday with a special appearance by KFAV Radio as we hold our second 2008 Colgate Country Showdown Preliminary at 6pm.  5 acts will compete for 2 finalist positions to move onto the St. Charles County Fair.   Country singer Tate Stevens performs Tuesday evening at 7:30 and then see the oustanding new group, "Whiskey Falls" at 8:30.

The big weekend will see Steve Holy and "Little Big Town" on the Main Stage on Saturday, July 12th.  And in-between there is lots and lots of good old fashioned fair-going stuff all week.  Find out more by going to their web site at lincolncountyfair.net.  Let's hope Mother Nature provides stellar weather for the Lincoln County Fair as well.
