A bankruptcy judge has ruled that a Wentzville based extended auto warranty vendor can stay open.
U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Charles E. Rendlen III ruled Wednesday that US Fidelis can keep paying over 100 call-center employees, whose main roles are to persuade clients not to cancel their auto-service contracts. An attorney for US Fidelis told Rendlen that the company would try to collect millions of dollars that the company's owners, Darain and Cory Atkinson, owe US Fidelis. The attorney said the Atkinsons and their connected real-estate companies owe US Fidelis over 65-million dollars.
