Financial concerns are leading to several school bus routes being cut in the St. Charles City School District

Around 16 buses will be eliminated for the coming school year.  Officials say the cuts won't affect students younger than fourth grade, or special needs students.  They say the routes being eliminated run less than a mile and a half from school.  Superintendent Randal Charles says the move will save the district 325-thousand dollars a year.
