St. Charles Police Seek Robbery Suspect

The St. Charles Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who robbed the Red Roof Inn Hotel, lin the 2000 block of Zumbehl Road. Authorities say the suspect, described as having a thin to average build, was wearing black gloves, a hooded sweatshirt, black baggy pants, black shoes, and a black and white bandana over his face.

He entered the hotel office at just past 10 pm on January 30, displayed a black handgun that appeared to be a semi automatic and demanded money from the cash drawer. The clerk handed the suspect the cash drawer containing an undetermined amount of cash and the suspect fled the hotel on foot.
