A Foristell man and man from Chesterfield escaped injury after their boats collided on the Lake of the Ozarks, Saturday.

The Missouri State Water Patrol says nobody was hurt; but one of the two boats involved in the collision was damaged. Investigators say a 16' boat being operated by a 70 year old man from Chesterfield was traveling about 300 feet off the shoreline when a 45 foot cruiser being operated by a 38 year old man from Foristell, ran over the stern of the vessel.

The accident occurred around 7:15pm Saturday near the 20 mile marker of the lake at Sunrise Beach.
