New Music Weekly Awards Will Be Handed Out Saturday Night...Kaspar Broadcasting Nominated For A Fifth Consecutive Year

For a fifth consecutive year, Kaspar Broadcasting and Program Director Mike Thomas have been honored by the music industry with two nominations at the New Music Weekly Awards in Hollywood which will be handed out Saturday night.

KFAV Program Director Mike Thomas is nominated for Country Program Director of the Year and KFAV has been nominated for Country Radio Station of the Year.  The New Music Weekly Awards, which focus on up and coming artists in all genre's of music were first handed out in 2004.

Thomas won the Program Director of the Year Award in 2004 and 2007...he was also nominated for the honor in 2005, 2006 and now again in 2008.   Other programmers nominated for this year's award hail from Yuma, Arizona; Enid, Oklahoma; Savannah, Missouri; and Window Rock, Arizona.

KFAV has been nominated for Country Radio Station of the Year in four of the five years that the awards have been handed out.  Other stations nominated this year for Country Station of the Year are in Mexico, Missouri; Yuma, Arizona; Lexington, Nebraska; Warsaw, New York; and Grand Junction, Colorado.

The New Music Weekly Awards will be handed out at a star studded event at the Avalon Theater in Hollywood, California.
