Governor Nixon Orders Flags To Half Staff To Honor Paul Fricke in Lincoln And Warren Counties

Flags will be lowered to half-staff at all state government buildings in Lincoln and Warren counties on Tuesday, Aug. 31, in honor of 37-year-old Paul J. Fricke, who served both as the police chief for the city of Hawk Point, in Lincoln County, and as a deputy sheriff for the Warren County Sheriff’s Department.
Chief Fricke died in the line of duty on Aug. 27 while serving the citizens of Hawk Point. He was a 2005 graduate of the
Eastern
Missouri
Law
Enforcement
Training
Academy. Under Governor Nixon’s order,
U.S. and
Missouri flags at state buildings in Lincoln and Warren counties will fly at half-staff from sunrise until sunset on Tuesday, the day the funeral services for Chief Fricke will take place.
