A hearing was held Wednesday in Montgomery County concerning a lawsuit that was filed against the county commission over the approval of a proposed drag strip near New Florence.

About a dozen property owners sued the County Commission in November after the commission approved a Planning & Zoning decision to grant a conditional use permit for the Mar-Park drag strip.   The property owners allege that the commission granted the conditional use permit in error.

The case is being heard by judge Keith Sutherland.   At Wednesday’S hearing two dates were set to give the judge enough information to decide the case.  He also set April 11 as the next court date for the case.
