A woman from Crawford county was killed early Sunday in a two-vehicle accident on Interstate 44 in Franklin County.

The Missouri Highway Patrol says 22 year old Christen Parmley of Bourbon, was driving eastbound in the westbound lanes of the Interstate when she struck a tractor-trailer head-on. Parmley was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.   The truck driver was not injured.

The accident occurred at just before 2 a.m. Sunday.
