Aerospace giant Boeing has announced that it will soon cut their  Boeing Military Aircraft (BMA) business and it’s bad news for St Charles and St Louis. Starting on October 1st, the aerospace giant will cut their six divisions to four, and reduce the staff at Missiles and Unmanned Airborne Systems, based in St. Charles, Global Strike, based in St Louis, Surveillance and Engagement, based in Seattle and Mobility, which is based in Ridley Park, Pennsylvania.

The cuts will be to 10 percent of BMA executive positions. Boeing expects more  cuts to be made at all levels of the organization over the next few months. BMA President Chris Chadwick said the new organization will allow BMA to meet domestic and global defense requirements for the next 10 years and beyond.
