St. Charles County authorities are looking for a man who stole a handgun from a pawn shop last month.

The St. Charles County Sheriff’s Department says two men entered the Pawn Emporium at 1879 Old Highway 94 South on July 24 and the store clerk let one of them look at a black powder revolver. While the clerk was distracted, the men left the shop without paying for the gun. Authorities say the man pictured at right in a surveillance video was the one who stole the gun.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call deputies Chris Hunt or Joseph Henke at the sheriff's department at 636-949-0809.
