In football:   It appears that the Rams will head north for their training camp this year.

There are still some details to be worked out, but the Rams have decided to conduct training camp at Concordia University in Wisconsin .

One of the Rams' former sites, Western Illinois , was among the possible locations, as was Wisconsin-Whitewater.  Scott Linehan's team has spent the last three years training at their practice facility in Earth City .

There are three solid reasons why the training camp move to Wisconsin is a good decision:  The Rams may want to go somewhere where the summer heat is not as oppressive, they may want to get away from the distractions of home in this season’s attempt to return to a winning record, and there are a few teams who have training camps in Wisconsin who the Rams could scrimmage periodically instead of hitting each other day after day.
