I guess that Chuck Lorre is not using our idea that Ashton will turn out to be a long lost son of Charlie's who inherits the house and asks Alan and Jake to stay.
CBS is parsing out tidbits on whats going on behind locked doors on Two and a half Men. Entertainment President Nina Tassler talked shop with reporters at the TV press tour in Beverly Hills, revealed that Ashton Kutcher will play Walden Schmidt, an Internet billionaire with a broken heart. But Tassler wouldn't confirm or deny that the new season will begin with Charlie Harper's funeral. For that, check the episode where Emilio Estevez dies and Charlie imagines his own funeral, complete with jilted girlfriends spitting into his casket.

In case you've been in a sensory depravation tank for the last six months, Kutcher replaces Charlie Sheen, who was sacked earlier this year. Tassler played up the show's strengths and avoided any mention of Charlie Sheen, saying: "What we learned is that we have extraordinary writers, extraordinary actors and there is great value in hiring an actor like Ashton. He is a funny, talented actor who comes with a tremendout amount of commitment and enthusiasm. Our whole focus right now is moving forward." "Men" did its first table read earlier this week and is due to shoot the two part season premiere on Friday.
