The Western Writers of America declared the 1953 movie “Shane” the greatest western of all time at its annual convention in Scottsdale, Arizona. The group plans to announce the 100 greatest western TV movies, series and miniseries of all time during its convention in Oklahoma City next year. The top 10 best westerns of all time:
