The boss of Chinese toy firm involved in a huge safety recall has committed suicide.

       About 1.5 million toys were withdrawn from sale earlier this month.

       Zhang Shuhong, who is or shall we say was a co-owner of a Toy Company.  Zhang killed himself on Saturday, according to the Southern Metropolitan Daily and other news sources.  It is reported that he hanged himself in his factory. 

       Chinese-made products have come under increasing international scrutiny reciently.  An internal investigation found the toys had been made using a non-approved paint pigment which contained excessive amounts of lead.
