To this country boy…if you live in a big crowed city it seems difficult enough to stay sane with all that goes on around you.  Now if you live in Washington the District of Columbia you have one more thing that helps to destroy any semblance, you may have, of tranquility.  

        The D.C. police cars…are being equipped with new high-tech sirens that people can hear and feel from hundreds of yards away.   Already the D.C. police have equipped 49 cars with “Rumblers” and have plans to outfit all cars with “Rumblers” in the next few years.  

        The “Rumblers”, the high-tech sirens that you can feel as well as hear, feature high-output woofers and powerful amplifiers that send powerful low-frequency sound waves that literally shake everything in your vicinity. 

        This piece is written as a service should you have an occasion to travel to Washington, D.C. we want you be aware of what could be in store for you.  Can’t you just imagine being 50 feet away from one of these police cars when they turn on the monster ‘rumbling’ sirens.  It hits your body with ear crushing sound waves….and….as if that weren’t enough the ‘Rumblers powerful low-frequency sound waves shake everything in your vicinity…including your nerves?
