The Meadows At Lake St Louis will see pink this month, to bring encouragement to people dealing with cancer, their survivors, and their families, when the coast-to-coast    The Meadows, St Charles County’s new shopping center at Highway 40 and Lake St Louis Boulevard, is joining a nationwide effort to heighten breast cancer awareness by hosting day one of a two-day charitable festival.  Kaspar Broadcasting Co. and Westplex Today are proud to help trumpet the arrival.  KFAV will be broadcasting live.  Listen for details. 

 

The “Pink Heals Tour” arrives at the shopping center on Friday September 18th at 5pm. A parade of emergency vehicles from the Lake St Louis and Wentzville Fire Protection Districts will escort Dick Graybill who will arrive in his big pink fire truck, along with two other pink fire trucks of the Pink Ribbon Tour.” Their arrival will be the start of a night of fund-raising festivities at the Meadows, hosted by KSDK TV’s Ann Rubin. Events will include a Pink Pet Parade, a survivor and supporter balloon launching, a silent auction, live music, and abundant food and drinks. All funds raised will go toward the Wentzville Firefighters Outreach Program, a program that helps female breast cancer patients with the cost of living during their treatment. On the 19th, Graybill and the Pink Ribbon Tour will head to Heritage Point Shopping Center in Wentzville for a 7K Breast Cancer Awareness Run, a Family Fun One Mile Run/Walk, a Parade of Pink and a post-parade party. For more, visit www.wentzvillefirefighters.org.
