Henrik Zetterberg's first period goal held up as the Red Wings edged the Stars 2-1 in Game Two of the Western Conference finals at Joe Louis Arena.

Darren Helm added his career first career goal while Jiri Hudler, Pavel Datsyuk, and Tomas Holmstrom all tallied an assist for the Red Wings.  Chris Osgood stopped 17 of the 18 shots he faced in the victory, which gives the Red Wings a 2-0 series lead.

Stephane Robidas scored the lone goal for Dallas, which hosts Game Three on Monday.  Marty Turco played well under more duress than his Detroit counterpart in goal, but allowed both goals on 34 shots in defeat.
