In their first game on home ice in three weeks, the Blues played well Tuesday night, but still picked up a loss.

Johan Franzen snapped a 1-1 tie with a third period goal to lift the Detroit Red Wings to a 2-1 win over the Blues at Scottrade Center.  Henrik Zetterberg put Detroit on the scoreboard in the first period with his 41st goal.  Andy McDonald tied the game for the Blues with a score early in the second period.  It was his 16th goal of the year.

The Blues and Red Wings will meet for the final time this season on Friday night in Detroit.  Unfortunately for the Blues, Tuesday's loss officially knocked them out of playoff contention for the third straight season.
