In the NHL Playoffs:   3 teams grabbed 3-nothing series leads in their conference semifinal series, with victories gained Tuesday night.

Pittsburgh outlasted the New York Rangers 5-3, paced by 2 power-play goals by Evgeni Malkin.  The Penguins have a 3-0 lead in that series.

Detroit is up 3-0 on Colorado after a 4-3 victory last night, led by Pavel Datsyuk's 2 goals.

Dallas nipped San Jose 2-1 in overtime, on an improbable goal by defenseman Mattias Norstrom, who only has 2 goals in 47 career playoff games.  The Stars have a 3-0 lead in that series.

Tonight:  Dallas can finish a sweep with a victory tonight in San Jose, and Philadelphia takes a 2-1 series lead into its home game against Montreal.
