80's rock icon Huey Lewis has been added to the line-up of top name entertainment coming to the 2008

Town
and Country Fair.
This year’s fair, will be held from August 6 to 10. Lewis and his band The News will take the stage on Saturday, August 10. Lewis' album "Sports" was one of the top selling album for the entire decade of the 80's. Some of his big hits include "Heart Of Rock 'N Roll"; "I Want A New Drug" and "Do You Believe In Love". Lewis also made his first appearance on the country charts recently singing with Garth Brooks on Brooks' remake of his hit "Workin' For A Livin'"
As previously announced on Westplex Today, other entertainers at this year's fair include Craig Morgan, Terri Clark, Tracy Lawrence and the Charlie Daniels Band.
Craig Morgan will hit the mainstage on Thursday night, August 7. He has had a number of top ten and number hits including his most recent single “International Harvester”.
Other hits include “That’s What I Like About Sunday” and “Almost Home”.
On Friday, August 8, Terri Clark and Tracy Lawrence will both perform.
Clark
has scored with hits such as “Now That I Found You” and “Girls Lie Too”.
Lawrence
recently hit the top of the charts with his hit “Find Out Who Your Friends Are”.
Some of his other big hits include “Time Marches On”; “Texas Tornado” and “Alibis”.
Friday night.
The fair will conclude on Sunday, August 10 with a concert by the legendary Charlie Daniels Band.
Earlier this month, Daniels was honored by the Country Radio Broadcasters with their Career Achievement award to commemorate his 50 years in country music.
Daniels, who is best known for his monster hit “The Devil Went Down To Georgia”, has also hit it big with hits like “Still In Saigon”, “Drinkin’ My Baby Goodbye”, “Legend Of Wooly Swamp” and others.
