Westplex residents will be able to celebrate the Fourth Of July with a country music superstar at this year's Warren County Fair.  The fair board has announced that Aaron Tippin will perform at the fair on July 4th as American celebrates her 231st birthday.

Tippin released his first single "You've Got to Stand for Something"  in 1991 and went on to crack the Top 10 on the country chart.  In 1992, he released one of his biggest hits "There Ain't Nothin' Wrong With the Radio" which stayed at No. 1 for three weeks.  Tippin scored a total of six Top 10 hits and charted 19 records for RCA before leaving the label in 1998 and moving to Lyric Street.  With a new label, Tippin picked up where he left off and charted a No. 1 with the raucous "Kiss This".  In 2001, in the wake of 9/11, his patriotic anthem "Where the Stars and Stripes and the Eagle Fly" peaked at No. 2 on the charts.  Aaron and  hsi wife Thea, decided to take control of their own destiny a few years ago and last September he released his album "Now And Then", a greatest hits plus project that he handled from start to finish.
