Three country music superacts will grace the stage of the Lincoln County Fair in Troy this year.  Trent Tomlinson, Heartland and Phil Vassar will all be a part of this year's fair, which will run from July 10 to July 14.

Missouri native Trent Tomlinson will take the mainstage on Tuesday, July 10.  Tomlinson burst onto the country music scene almost a year and a half ago with his hit single "Drunker Than Me".  That was followed by even more sucess with his most recent top 10 single, "One Wing In The Fire".  Trent has just released the third single from his debut CD titled "Just Might Have Her Radio On".

Alabama natives Heartland will open for Phil Vassar on Saturday, July 14.  Heartland had been plying their trade for more than a decade before being signed by Lofton Creek records.  Following their record deal, their debut single "I Loved Her First" was released last May and it became the first independent country single to top the country charts in almost 5 years.  Another chapter was added to the Heartland story earlier this year when they picked up Academy Of Country Music nominations for single of the year and best new country group.

The headline entertainer at this year's fair will be singer/songwriter Phil Vassar on Saturday, July 14.  After writing hit songs for the likes of Alan Jackson and JoDee Messina, Vassar released his first single as a singer in 2000.  That song, "Carlene", turned out to be a huge hit and was followed by a string of hits that included "Just Another Day In Paradise", "Six Pack Summer", "In A Real Love" and more.  Vassar released his greatest hits album last May and just recently signed a new deal with Universal South records.
